Advanced Inspection Technologies LLC is a Portland, Oregon–based company specializing in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), quality inspection, and industrial testing solutions. We help manufacturers, energy companies, infrastructure operators, and fabricators detect flaws, ensure compliance, and protect people and assets with cutting-edge inspection methods.
Our office is located at 7115 SE 118th Drive, in the heart of southeast Portland, Oregon, ZIP code 97266. This location places us within easy reach of the Portland–Vancouver metropolitan area, the Columbia River industrial corridor, and the major manufacturing, energy, and transportation hubs of the Pacific Northwest.
Advanced Inspection Technologies LLC brings together certified NDT technicians, quality engineers, and inspectors with decades of combined experience across oil & gas, aerospace, manufacturing, structural steel, and power generation. We combine traditional inspection methods with modern digital tools — ultrasonic phased arrays, digital radiography, eddy current, and remote visual inspection — to deliver accurate, repeatable, and fully documented results.
To protect people, infrastructure, and industrial assets by delivering the most reliable, accurate, and cost-effective inspection and testing services in the Pacific Northwest — helping our clients operate safely, meet regulatory requirements, and avoid costly downtime.
Years of Experience
Projects Completed
Conventional UT, phased array (PAUT), and TOFD for welds, castings, forgings, pipe, and pressure vessels — detecting internal flaws, wall thickness, and corrosion with high precision.
Industrial film radiography and digital radiography (DR/CR) for weld inspection, casting evaluation, and asset integrity — portable units for on-site work.
Surface and near-surface crack detection on ferritic materials — steel welds, castings, forgings, and structural components — using magnetic particle methods.
Surface-breaking flaw detection on non-porous materials — stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, ceramics — using dye penetrant and fluorescent methods.
Borescopes, video probes, and drones for inspecting hard-to-reach areas — vessels, tanks, pipelines, engines, and confined spaces — without disassembly.
Eddy current for tubing, heat exchangers, and conductive materials; hardness testing (Brinell, Rockwell, Vickers) for material qualification and heat-treat verification.
Pipeline, refinery, tank inspection
Components, welds, structural testing
Castings, forgings, weld QA
Bridges, buildings, heavy steel
Turbines, boilers, heat exchangers
Rolling stock, rails, wheels, axles
Hulls, tanks, offshore structures
Pressure vessels, piping, integrity
We performed UT and RT on over 20 km of cross-country pipeline welds, delivering digital phased-array reports and helping the client meet PHMSA compliance on schedule.
Our team conducted MT, UT, and visual inspection on 3,000+ structural welds for a major bridge retro-fit, producing certified documentation accepted by ODOT.
We inspected 12,000+ tubes in a refinery heat exchanger using eddy current, identifying degraded tubes before they caused an unplanned shutdown — saving an estimated $2M in downtime.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Pacific Time, PT); 24/7 emergency inspection service available.
